D+T - Model Making

This week we had great fun using paint, cardboard boxes and all things messy to create London and the isle of Struay (in Scotland) We have been learning about how London is different to Struay and looked at a birds eye view map of the two places. Then we designed out models and created them. We found out that there is lots more open space in Struay and lots more trees and rivers there, than in London. We saw that there is not as much green space in London and that the buildings are often packed closely together.

Next week please remember we have Walk to school week so please try hard to walk each day or if you can't walk all the day please park a little way away and walk from there. Children who walk everyday of walk to school week will receive a special badge!

Have a good weekend, see you Monday,

Mr. Merchant and 2M
